EVENTS
Assisi offers many events throughout the years. In early May, it takes place the Calendimaggio, a reenactment of medieval life with parades, music, dancing and the famous battle between the two hamlets of the city. Starting from the last weekend of August (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), you can go back to the period when Assisi was divided into factions with the Palio of San Rufino, which ends in a shooting competition with the crossbow. The Cavalcata of Satriano is a horse ride held every first weekend of September: jockeys wearing past costumes retrace the journey that knights made till Nocera Umbra to take Saint Francis back to his home town to die. There’re many celebrations related to religious festivals, such as the Franciscan celebrations every 4th of October and the Festa del Voto on 22nd of June, in memory of the expulsion by St. Clare of the Saracens from Assisi.

Payment Policies
To secure this booking, a partial payment in the amount of 25% of the grand total is due within no later than 2 days after booking confirmation. Balance payment must be fully settled 45 days prior to arrival. If that date has already passed, then full payment must be settled within 2 days of confirmation of intention to book.
Tourist tax: € 3,00 per day/person, for the first three days (except children under 12 years old) to pay upon arrival to the owner.
The cancellation of a reservation, even if replaced with another one, demands the payment of the following penalties:
– 25 % of the total reservation price in the case of cancellation notified within 45 days prior to the first day of the stay;
– 60 % of the total reservation price in the case of cancellation notified between 44 and 30 days prior to the first day of the stay;
– 80 % of the total reservation price in the case of cancellation notified between 29 and 15 days prior to the first day of the stay;
– 100 % of the total reservation price in the case of cancellation notified within 14 days prior to the first day of the stay;
In addition to the above stated penalties, the booking cancellation – whenever it’s notified – always entails the payment, as penalty and with no right of refund, of the amounts transferred at the moment the reservation was made by way of additional service (booking fees, commissions, other extra costs,etc).
