EVENTS
Among the most relevant events organised in town, there is the Exhibition of Handicrafts, Antiques and Art restoration which is held every year in the centre of Pollenza. For two weeks in July, the town becomes a real showcase with workshops of cabinetmakers and antique shops open until late at night. On this occasion you can taste many typical dishes from Le Marche in the various food stands of the historic centre. In late June there’s the famous Palio di San Giovanni, during which the various districts compete in ancient folk games such as the break of the pine cone, the sack race and much more. There are also festivals linked to local products, such as Cantine e Castagnata a Pollenza. All cellars of the town are open to visitors for the tasting of local wines and cold cuts, cheese, cornmeal mush, chestnuts and any sort of sweet. Live concerts of folk bands, jugglers, acrobats and any kind of entertainment for all ages are organised. The town of Pollenza also proposes theatre shows such as works of prose, plays, concerts and musicals. During the summer months there are also art exhibitions.

Payment Policies
To secure this booking, a partial payment in the amount of 25% of the grand total is due within no later than 2 days after booking confirmation. Balance payment must be fully settled 45 days prior to arrival. If that date has already passed, then full payment must be settled within 2 days of confirmation of intention to book.
The tourist tax has to be paid directly upon arrival to the owner if due.
The cancellation of a reservation, even if replaced with another one, demands the payment of the following penalties:
– 25 % of the total reservation price in the case of cancellation notified within 45 days prior to the first day of the stay;
– 60 % of the total reservation price in the case of cancellation notified between 44 and 30 days prior to the first day of the stay;
– 80 % of the total reservation price in the case of cancellation notified between 29 and 15 days prior to the first day of the stay;
– 100 % of the total reservation price in the case of cancellation notified within 14 days prior to the first day of the stay;
In addition to the above stated penalties, the booking cancellation – whenever it’s notified – always entails the payment, as penalty and with no right of refund, of the amounts transferred at the moment the reservation was made by way of additional service (booking fees, commissions, other extra costs,etc).
